Pre-employment declaration (PRE-EMPLOYMENT DECLARATION)

The DPAE must be sent, at the earliest 8 days before the hiring (and before the actual putting to work of the employee) to the Urssaf, unless use of devices simplifying the hiring formalities of small companies.

The DPAE allows the following formalities to be carried out in a single procedure: application for registration of the employer to social security in case of 1^re hiring an employee, creating or acquiring a company employing employees, applying for membership in the unemployment insurance scheme, applying for membership in an occupational medical service, and applying for the information and prevention visit.

Replaces the single declaration of employment (DUE), cerfa n°12044*01 is no longer in force.
