Review of commercial and professional leases: the indices in the first quarter of 2026

The commercial and professional lease benchmarks of the Commercial Rent Index (CLI), the Building Cost Index (ICC) and the Service Rent Index (SLI) have been revised.

Published on June 24, 2026 by the French national institute of statistics and economic studies (Insee), new indices for commercial and professional leases have been calculated for the first quarter of 2026:

  • Commercial Rent Index: 135.26 (vs. 134.62 in the fourth quarter of 2025);
  • Building cost index: 2084 (vs. 2058 in the fourth quarter of 2025);
  • Rent index of tertiary activities: 137.42 (vs. 137.21 in the fourth quarter of 2025).
