As part of compliance with CSR standards and in the run-up to World Environment Day (5 June), the website Nos Gestes Climat developed by ADEME allows you to calculate your individual carbon footprint free of charge. To date, more than 3 million tests have been carried out. This way, raise awareness among your employees and launch a campaign entitled Our Climate Actions.

In France, average carbon footprint currently stands at more than 8.2 tons of CO2 per person per year (according to the Statistical Data and Studies Service). The target for 2050 is 2 tons of CO2. It takes place against a backdrop of the company's growing non-financial challenges.

Thus, each company may be subject to CSR obligations (Social Responsibility of Companies). Limiting the environmental impact and triggering the ecological transition is everyone's business, reducing the carbon footprint is a priority.

A simulator to know your carbon footprint

THEcalculation tool Our Climate Actions allows us to know our carbon footprint after responding to a series of questions about our lifestyle and habits (housing, food, transportation...).)

Then discover your footprint and then the actions to be taken to reduce it.

The simulator Nos Gestes Climat helps raise awareness in the professional setting because it is:

✅ Reliable

✅ Anonymous

✅ Fast

✅ Free

✅ Accessible

FYI

More than 85% of people who have calculated their carbon footprint feel they have learned something and now wish to evolve their practices.

Raise awareness among your teams and customers

With Our Climate Gestures, ADEME offers you a free, simple and reliable tool to relay to your employees and customers to assess and reduce their carbon footprint.

For this, it is enough to create an « organization account » and then launch a campaign Our Climate Actions directly. This feature allows to obtain the average of the carbon footprint of all respondents (overall and by emission category) in the respect for confidentiality.

If you want to know more, a demo webinar and one broadcast kit are available to discover how to easily integrate the test into your actions and thus strengthen your CSR approach.

Test your knowledge with the carbon quiz

ADEME also raises awareness among companies with the CO2 impact site. This one proposes in particular a Carbon Quiz to learn more about the impact of our practices on the environment.
