Article 203 of the Finance Law for 2026 introduced ceilings for the use of the CPF.

The application Decree, in force since February 26, 2026, sets the following thresholds:

• €1,500 for certifications and authorizations recorded in the specific register (includes certifications and authorizations complementary to those of the RNCP: titleContent), such as the TOEIC for example. Certification Key (foundation of professional knowledge and skills) is not affected by this ceiling;
• €1,600 for “skills assessment” training (to take stock of your skills, define your needs and establish a professional project). In addition, in order for these trainings to be funded by the CPF, it is now necessary not to have received funding for a skills assessment during the last 5 years;
• €900 for preparations for theoretical and practical tests of the categories of light vehicles (Permit A1, A2, B, B1, BE).

If these ceilings are exceeded, the rest will be taken care of by the beneficiary or by a third-party funder (the employer if you are an employee, the State, the region, a skills operator - Opco...).
