Review of commercial and professional leases: the indices in the second quarter of 2025

Commercial and professional lease benchmarks such as the Commercial Rent Index (CLI), the Cost of Construction Index (CCI) and the Service Rent Index (SLI) have been revised.

Published on September 23, 2025 by the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), new indices for commercial and professional leases were calculated for the second quarter of 2025:

  • Commercial Rent Index: 136.81 (vs. 135.87 in the first quarter of 2025);
  • Construction Cost Index: 2086 (vs. 2146 in the first quarter of 2025);
  • Rent index of tertiary activities: 137.15 (vs. 137.29 in the first quarter of 2025).
