Every person has a personal training account (CPF) from the moment they enter the labor market until they retire.

A decree of 30 March 2026 raises its amount to €150. This increase applies to any request to subscribe to a training share eligible for the intervening CPF as of april 2, 2026.

Reminder

A decree of 29 April 2024 had set new obligations for the use of the CPF from 2 May 2024: the introduction of a mandatory flat-rate contribution of €100 (upgraded annually to €1er January following inflation). At 1er January 2026, its amount was set at €103.20.

Who is concerned by the compulsory flat-rate contribution?

Active persons wishing to finance training with their CPF must pay the flat-rate contribution.

However, it does not apply in certain cases:

  • if you are a jobseeker;
  • when your training is paid for by your employer;
  • when you wish to mobilize all or part of the points of your prevention professional account (C2P) ;
  • if you are entitled to an AT-MP supplement (care due to permanent disability for people suffering from an illness or occupational disease).

Please note

The 2026 Finance Act introduced further measures regarding the use of the CPF. The financing of a Competence assessment by the CPF (private sector) is capped at €1,600 (cap on annual CPF duties only).

And you must not have benefited from skills assessment funding (by France Travail, the State, a region, a skills operator) in the last 5 years.

FYI

If the CPF does not cover the total cost of the costs, other actors can complete the financing (yourself, your employer, your competence operator, the regional council, the departmental council, your town hall, France Travail, etc.). Additional costs related to training (mobility, transport, meals) are excluded from the coverage.
