Comment faire ?

The application for authorization must be accompanied by required parts for all applications for sign authorization, including temporary signs, which are as follows: 

  • Situation Plan (example: a view of the land extended to several cadastral plots)
  • Side Ground Plane (example: a sketch of the device, describing the materials used, the colors and showing the shapes and dimensions, including width, height. Please refer on this representation the number of the sign as declared on the form)
  • Graphical representation of the device listed in three dimensions (example: a sketch of the device, describing the materials used, colors, and showing shapes and dimensions, including width, height, and thickness)
  • Situation of the sign (example: a photomontage of the building or land)
  • View of the building or place concerned with and without the sign (example: one or more views of the building concerned in its near and distant environment, with and without sign)
  • Graphical document to assess the integration of the brand in relation to nearby buildings and landscapes, as well as its visual impact

FYI  

When it comes to an install laser radiation beam sign, we must accompany the request of required parts following:

  • Descriptive notice including the power of the laser source
  • Characteristics of the beam(s)
  • Description of the effects produced

Of complementary parts may be requested where signs are located in the following protected places:

The complementary parts are as follows:

  • Section plan of the facade accommodating the sign
  • Photograph to locate the building integrating the sign in the nearby environment
  • Photograph to locate the building integrating the sign in the distant landscape
  • Description of the materials used and the methods of execution of the works

Warning  

Each part must be supplied in 3 copies, if it is a paper consignment.

No other mandatory parts can be requested.

The prior authorization concerns the installation of the following signs:

Please note

Affixing or causing to be affixed a sign without prior authorization shall be punished by €7,500 of fine (natural person) and €37,500 of fine (legal person).

The authorization must be addressed at the town hall where the implantation is envisaged signs:

  • Either by electronic means : you must ask the town hall for details, or consult its website.
  • Either by paper route (in 2 copies): must be sent by recommended fold with acknowledgement of receipt request or deposit against receipt dated at the town hall.

The time limit for investigation is 2 months from the reception of the authorization request at the town hall.

In case of incomplete file, a incompleteness mail shall be sent within one month of receipt, indicating the documents and items to be supplied within 2 months.

This mail postponed the time taken to investigate 2 months from the receipt by the administration of missing documents or information.
