Financial hardship and legal proceedings can affect entrepreneurs psychologically and physically. Thus, it is important for the entrepreneur in distress to get help. Several associations have the mission of supporting heads of company in distress.
What is Apesa's mission?
The Acute Suffering Entrepreneurs Psychological Assistance Network - Apesa's mission is to help entrepreneurs who have experienced professional failure, to get back on track. The idea is to make them understand that failure is only « the first step of a bounce personal or professional’.
The associations of the Apesa network work in collaboration with different interlocutors called sentries which are field professionals, trained to identify signs of psychological distress among entrepreneurs. These include, for example, judges and clerks of commercial courts, accountants, lawyers, judicial agents or liquidators or advisers of consular chambers (CCI: titleContent, CMA: titleContent, ...). When a sentinel detects distress signals in an entrepreneur, it triggers, with his agreement, an alert with the coordinating psychologist of APESA for a fast support and confidential.
Psychologists at Apesa specialize in listening to and treating mental suffering.

The psychological help offered by Apesa is free of charge. It comprises in particular 5 sessions with a psychologist.

What is the mission of the Amarok Observatory?
The Amarok Observatory aims to preserve physical and mental health entrepreneurs (PME executives, traders, craftsmen, professionals) whose company is in difficulty. It has a dual mission:
- Societal mission : Raise public awareness of the importance of the physical and moral condition of entrepreneurs
- Scientific mission : Linking medical sciences and entrepreneurial sciences
It offers company leaders and employers' federations prevention and assistance actions through training. They are intended to raise awareness among leaders of occupational health risks and promoting good practices among the leaders. The Amarok Observatory also has a listening platform for leaders in distress.
