Fuel prices: exceptional loan and contribution deferral arrangements

Extended payment period for contributions

The Urssaf gives employers and self-employed workers the opportunity to obtain a period of payment of contributions (without late penalties) that can go up to 12 months (or even more in case of a « special situation »).

It is mandatory to have paid your employee contributions in order to obtain this deadline.

Late payment penalties are waived if the company complies with the payment deadline.

Creation of an exceptional loan

To help companies cope with rising fuel prices, the loan Fuel Flash shall be established. It is intended for VSE and SMES from less than 250 employees (mid-sized companies and sole proprietorships are not concerned).

Granted without guarantee, the amount of this loan for a period of 36 months can range from €5 000 to €50 000. Its interest rate is fixed at 3.80%. The first repayment of the loan may be made after a period of 12 months.

Companies wishing to obtain this loan must:

  • have fuel expenses representing at least 5 % their turnover;
  • have been in existence for more than a year;
  • be active in any of the following sectors: transport, agriculture or fisheries;
  • not be the subject of a collective proceeding;
  • have borrower insurance Death andPTIA (Total and irreversible loss of autonomy) 100 % compulsory;
  • have a public accountant.

The request will be made only online on Bpi France, a response is given within 48 hours.
